Entry-Level Window Installer - Wadsworth Glass

Wadsworth Glass Inc is currently hiring for a full-time Entry-Level Window Installer to learn the necessary skills of glass installation while assisting our experienced technicians in the El Sobrante, CA area. This entry-level position earns a competitive wage of $18-$24 an hour, depending on experience.

DAY-TO-DAY

This entry-level apprenticeship position works full-time, Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm with occasional Saturdays.

As an Entry-Level Window Installer, you play an important role in the successful completion of various glass and window jobs. Each day, you help load trucks with the necessary equipment and materials. To keep our trucks and warehouse fully stocked, you request a list of required materials and supplies.

Working in a small team, you support our experienced technicians out in the field. As you assist them, they teach you how to properly install glass. You also help with the disposal of old windows and glass. To maintain a clean environment you sweep, clean, and organize materials. As needed, you help out with tasks in the warehouse and perform other duties as assigned. While communicating with managers, employees, and clients, you speak clearly and effectively. You enjoy advancing in this apprenticeship and garnering the knowledge needed to work on your own!

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL WINDOW INSTALLER

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
• Basic knowledge about software, including Microsoft Outlook and Time Traxs
• Ability to learn the required customer service and safety expectations of our company
