Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a Structural Engineer to be based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. _This position is expected to begin in June 2024._ **Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities + Perform assignments related to the design, analysis, rehabilitation and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary structures + Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives + Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids + Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering + Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required for this position **Preferred Qualifications:** + Registration as an E.I.T. + Strong technical writing and presentation skills + Flexibility to work on a variety of projects, including highways, bridges and tunnels. + Flexibility to occasionally work alternate schedules (nights, weekends and holidays) and short-notice work assignments depending on project needs + Must be detail oriented and demonstrate good problem solving ability. + Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. + Ability to clearly communicate technical information in layman’s terms. + Masters Degree preferred + Previous experience with Internships + Software Experience: AutoCad, Microstation, MS Office and Structural Analysis Software experience **Additional Information** + Sponsorship is not available for this position + Relocation assistance is not available for this position \#LI-SG1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
