Entry-Level Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek, a leading engineering and design solutions firm, is seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer with a strong background or knowledge in industrial design of concrete and steel structures. This is an exciting contract-to-direct opportunity based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Chicago, IL, or Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of industrial building modifications, upgrades, and new construction projects.
• Design structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood materials.
• Interface effectively with clients, designers, and project managers to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Familiarity with industrial building codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of industrial building modifications, upgrades, and new plant equipment support systems.
• Proficiency in the design of structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Ability to interface with clients, designers, and project managers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 2-7 years of experience in structural industrial design or commercial projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) preferred, or Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with industrial building codes.

Salary Range:

• $60,000- $ $85,000

Shift and Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 8 am- 5 pm
