We are looking for an entry-level, full-time, Residential New Construction HVAC Installer to join our team. Pay: For training period, starting range $17 per hour until trained & in field; then piece rate pay with overtime as needed (based on job average $17 to $26 per hour)

Job Schedule: Typical schedule is M-F, starting at 6:45 am

Job Summary:

As an entry-level new construction HVAC installer, you will receive on-the-job training (OJT). During your first few weeks on the job, you will work with our warehouse team to learn various things that will help you as you enter the field. Once in the field, you will assist in performing ductwork installation as well as "boot" placement (vent boxes). You will also assist in setting indoor and outdoor equipment including air handlers and condensers. You will learn venting and running copper.

Job Responsibilities (during OJT and beyond):

• Run and work a job from start to finish.
• Hang ductwork in attic space (prior to home build completion) according to blueprint design
• Install vents and grills
• Read blueprints to determine boot and vent locations.
• Operate/Maintain company vehicles daily.
• Record job details in company's trades software.
• Follow instructions from the supervisor and carry them out promptly.
• Work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Knowledge in reading blueprints
• Able to measure ductwork and install all equipment accessories.
• Proficient in installing round and rectangular ducts.
• Work well with others
• Adhere to safety standards
• Lift minimum of 50lbs and tolerate repetitive motions (bending, reaching, etc.)
• Tolerate working in tight, elevated spaces (attics)
• Withstand extreme temperatures
• Ability to complete the job, start to finish with minimal errors
• Basic understanding of more complex ductwork fittings.
• Maintain builder and sub-contractor relations.
• Ability to complete all necessary paperwork.
• Minor carpentry and framing skills a plus
