Entry Level Purchasing Sales Specialist at RDI,Inc

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.Duties:

• Work closely with the Account Manager on key accounts.
• Handling the daily needs of the branch's key accounts.
• Research the client's performance and working with the sales teams to strategy to hit targeted goals.
• Assist and build new accounts through, marketing research, and purchasing products.
• Learn the recycling product that we handle daily.
• 5% travel will be needed.

Required skills/Abilities:

• Associate degree required in either Marketing, or Business major.
• 1-2 years of experience with inside sales support / customer service / marketing research
• Knowledge of Sales or Purchasing is a must.
• Knowledge about the Recycling industry is a plus but not required.
• General computer efficiency including ability to operate Microsoft word, Excel and Power point.
• Excellent communication, organization time management, and problem - solving skills.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Preferred someone who has knowledge of the recycling industry in particular e-waste.
• Carrying a sales hunter mentality uncovering and converting new prospects.
• Must possess influencing, persuading and negotiating skills.
