Job Overview
The Entry Level Technician performs a variety of pharmacy related tasks including but not limited to:
Responsibilities and Duties
- Treating patients with the highest professional and ethical standards
- Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and they demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions all while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations
- Ability to move within the pharmacy in data entry, production, and laboratory.
- Other Duties As Assigned.
Education and Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Pharmacy Technician a plus
- Experience: No experience required, we will train you
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Attention to Detail is a must.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Standards for quality, cleanliness and safety must be consistently met.
- Must be collaborative and able to perform as part of a team
- Knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to take direction from the Pharmacist.
- Must have a deep understanding of applicable regulations and adhere to them at all times.
- Knowledge of applicable pharmacy software a plus(s).
- Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
