Responsibilities:

Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security using network monitoring tools.
- Assist with troubleshooting network issues and outages, escalating to senior team members as needed.

Configuration and Maintenance:
- Assist with the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform routine network maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and configuration backups.

User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues, including connectivity problems, VPN access, and wireless connectivity.
- Assist with user training and documentation on network-related topics and procedures.

Network Documentation:
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
- Update network documentation as changes are made to the network infrastructure.

Security and Compliance:
- Assist with implementing and enforcing network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network security and data privacy.

Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with other IT team members, including network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts, to support overall IT operations and initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings, projects, and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) are a plus.

Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and utilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
