Servatron, a Volex Company, specializes in Electronic Manufacturing Services producing PCBAs, cable assemblies, and electromechanical assemblies. We are excited to grow our Engineering team at our Spokane Valley, WA, facility. The Engineering Department is looking for someone to embrace the opportunity to learn the field of Document Control. The Document Control Specialist is responsible for controlling all documentation and engineering changes.
Specific duties and responsibilities
- Maintenance, control, and input of all client & Volex documentation, including:
- Engineering change orders (ECO’s), including implementation plans
- Bills of materials (BOM’s)
- Deviations
- Approved vendor listing(AVL)
- Procedures
- Item master
- Stop processes, stop ship releases, and stop ships
- Specifications and drawings
- Review and processing of documentation updates to ensure accurate completion in a timely manner per established procedures
- Periodic review and reporting of ECO and Deviation status
- Support in transitioning from Agile/JDE to Epicor system
Equipment used
- PC (Windows-based)
- Printer/copier/scanner
Qualifications – Minimum
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- High school diploma/equivalent
- Excellent people skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with Windows Computers and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications - Preferred
- Experience working in an ERP system
- Familiar with Bill of Material structure
- Previous experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environment
- Previous experience transitioning to a new ERP system

• Working Conditions are: 75% office environment, 20% manufacturing environment; 5%
outdoors.
• Noise level is moderate in office environment.
• Hearing protection must be worn in designated manufacturing areas.
• Fully enclosed shoes, leather construction, must be worn in all manufacturing areas.
• Safety glasses (ANSI Z87 compliant) required in all manufacturing areas.
