Entry Level Cook - Trueblue Inc

We are looking for an Entry Level Cook to join our team in Hanover NH.

As an Entry Level Cook, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to start their career in the culinary industry. We offer on-the-job training and growth opportunities for motivated individuals.

Days of work vary depending on need, must be available to work some weekends.

$20/hr

Duties:

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
