1. Provide legal advice and consultation, focusing on a variety of legal issues relating to class action lawsuits.
2. Manage all aspects of case management, including the development of case strategies, supervision of paralegals and assistants, and coordination with other attorneys.
3. Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal problems using various research tools, including computer databases and legal libraries.
4. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
5. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
6. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
7. Keep abreast of current legislation, case law, and industry trends to provide the most accurate and effective advice to clients.
8. Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones.
Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Entry level with a focus on class action and case management.
4. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal concepts to a variety of audiences.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
6. Proficiency in using legal research software and other related tools.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
9. Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality in professional interactions.
10. Demonstrated passion for the legal industry and a desire to continually learn and grow in the profession.
