Entry Level Assistant Manager - Flourish In

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Entry Level Assistant Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and fundraising while working closely with experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events, including venue selection, logistics management, and vendor coordination.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their fundraising goals and objectives, ensuring events are aligned with their mission and vision.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise event staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth execution of events while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Marketing and Promotion: Assist in developing marketing and promotional strategies to boost event attendance and support, contributing to the success of fundraising initiatives.
• On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, managing registration, overseeing activities, and addressing any issues that arise to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to evaluate event performance, recommending improvements and continuously striving for innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, event planning, marketing, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit work is a plus, but not required
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and volunteers
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Passion for making a positive impact in the community and supporting charitable causes
