Client Overview:
Our client is a dynamic and growing company dedicated to the retail industry. They are currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to join their team as an Entry Level Administrative Assistant.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18/hr
Position Overview:
The Entry Level Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to our team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the office. This Entry Level Administrative Assistant role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities of the Entry Level Administrative Assistant:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Welcome visitors and clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and are directed to the correct person or office
- Maintain office filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
- Provide general administrative support to team members as needed
Qualifications for the Entry Level Administrative Assistant:
- Additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
- Proven experience in an administrative support role is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A professional demeanor and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required
