Job Details
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
2. Managing the general ledger, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
3. Handling all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
4. Assisting with financial audits, providing necessary information and answering auditor queries.
5. Developing and implementing effective accounting procedures and internal controls.
6. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and provide accurate financial information.
7. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
8. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 1 years of accounting experience
3. Strong knowledge of month-end processes, general ledger management, and accounts payable.
4. Proficiency in accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial staff.
8. A strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
