Entry Level Accountant - CV Technology

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), ACH, and cash receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve payment discrepancies through analysis and effective communication, maintaining data integrity.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Verify journal entries and accounting classifications for accuracy.
• Analyze and maintain ledger accounts, reconciling discrepancies by collecting and reviewing account information.
• Participate in budgeting processes and support analysis and forecasting.
• Update financial databases to maintain accurate and accessible records.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Support senior accountants in monthly and year-end closings.
• Collaborate on cross-departmental accounting projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Proficiency in Excel (including formulas and pivot tables) and other MS Office applications.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability to support dynamic accounting tasks.
