JOB SUMMARY:
As Entertainment & Production Manager, you will efficiently and effectively oversee and coordinate the ticket office, technical/production details for all client rentals (conferences, trade shows, meetings, social functions, etc.) and technical, hospitality, and transportation details for all entertainment events.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- ensure smooth and successful operations in The Hall & Event Center and event & entertainment functions in casino food and beverage outlets.
- Maintain budgets for entertainment.
- Hire, schedule, and train production technicians to support event operations.
- Advance technical, hospitality, and transportation requirements for entertainment events
- Report out on key performance metrics of the ticket office.
- Demonstrate audio-visual/production capabilities of the Hall & Event Center during prospective client site inspections; make recommendations to clients and sales managers.
- Assist the sales team with generating quotes & proposals for clients.
- Communicate directly with sales clients to plan and execute production needs for each event.
- Conduct cost comparisons to ensure audio-visual pricing aligns with competitor hotels.
- Revise and rebuild audio-visual sales pricing on at least a yearly basis.
- Act as on-site production representative for artists and clients
- Create, revise, and enforce production SOPs.
- Distribute day sheets to the property for assigned shows.
- Track and submit expenses for assigned shows.
- Line up any needed rentals for shows & events.
- Interview, hire, and train new technicians and stagehands
- Review artist for proposed shows; provide cost estimates to booking agent.
- Participate in weekly entertainment booking calls with agent and property staff; provide feedback on offers.
- Work with food & beverage outlets to book entertainment (regular weekend acts plus special events)
- Bachelor's degree In Entertainment management or related experience is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a required Gaming Key License.
- 2 to 5 Years of entertainment or production management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of signal flow for audio/visual
- Knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues, instantly pinpointing faults and remedying during an event under audio, video, and lightning.
- Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
