Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and adjust tactics as needed.
- Developing Sales Strategies: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies and plans that align with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to sales performance, such as market shifts or competitive threats.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance sales performance.
- Strategic Partnerships: Research potential strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive business growth and open new sales channels.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of sales success with a significant focus on business development in the management consulting or professional services sector.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of successful client engagement and acquisition, ideally as a partner or senior consultant.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with and influence top-level executives.
- Comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Fortune 1000 and Fortune 200 space.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Dynamics 365) and MS Office Suite
