As the Enterprise Sales Director, you will guide our talented Enterprise Sales Managers to exceed their targets and overcome challenges. The primary purpose of the Enterprise Sales Director is to achieve team productivity goals for each hotel in the assign region.
Work Performed:
The Enterprise Sales Director will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Lead the Enterprise Sales Managers with individual leads, direct communication with potential customers and helping to overcome booking challenges and obstacles;
- Provide supervision and oversight to ESM team in accordance to brand and management company polices as well as applicable laws;
- Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, assisting, and directing related activities;
- Facilitate sales pipeline review calls for hotels in the assigned region;
- Define specific deployment responsibilities for all ESMs in the assigned region;
- Conduct regularly scheduled sales meetings, one-on-one (with each ESM), and participate in hotel Revenue Strategy meetings as needed;
- Ensure the sales systems are established and in place to respond to customer needs within a defined response period. These may include, but are not limited to, telephone inquiries, RFPs, proposals, confirmation of bookings, thank you letters, follow up letters, etc.;
- Complete performance evaluations and goal setting for each assigned ESM as part of Atrium’s commitment to the company’s performance review (PFS) process;
- Reinforce and ensure the understanding and implementation of Brand sales initiatives, tools, and resources.
- Submit required weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the assigned VP Sales & Marketing and Corporate staff;
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of market conditions, trends, and the competition through STAR data analytics and sales month-end reports;
- Contribute and work as a team member in all facets of the position throughout the company by maximizing involvement in all brand and Atrium initiatives;
- Assist ESMs with the development of revenue generation strategies and sales SMART plans to maximize profitability;
- Maintain a current and working engagement in all brand and vendor sales tools and resources;
- Maintain frequent communication with each assigned hotel Sales Leader and General Manager to ensure hotel updates, need dates, special happenings, etc., are on file and available to all assigned sellers;
- Support Atrium’s sales pillars of Creativity, Accountability, and Sales Fundamentals and
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Current Atrium Hospitality Associate in the Enterprise Sales organization
5+ years of hotel sales leadership
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or commensurate experience in a related business field required
Required Technology:
Either Delphi.fdc or Marriott CI/TY
Preferred Technology:
Both Delphi.fdc and Marriott CI/TY
