Enterprise Project Manager (EPM)
Massillon, Ohio (Hybrid schedule)
Position Summary:
The Enterprise Project Manager (EPM) plays a pivotal role in executing large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs that align with the organization's strategic goals. Reporting to the Enterprise PMO, the EPM ensures consistent project execution through standardized methodologies, effective resource management, and stakeholder collaboration. This role focuses on managing strategic projects that span multiple business functions, ensures projects align with enterprise goals and are delivered on time, within budget and to quality parameters. The EPM serves as a key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring alignment, communication, and execution across various business functions and teams.
Your Seat at the Table:
Strategic Project Planning & Delivery
• Follow EPMO governance frameworks, ensuring consistent execution of project across the organization.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for enterprise-level projects and programs, including scope, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Develop project charters, detailed project plans, budgets, schedules and resource plans.
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple workstreams.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria.
• Facilitate regular project status updates and align expectations with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between project teams and the EPMO, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
• Report on project metrics, milestones, and performance to EPMO and senior leadership.
Resource & Team management
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
• Monitor resources utilization and recommend adjustments to optimize efficiency.
• Partner with external vendors or contractors as needed for project execution.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Ensure projects comply with organizational governance and reporting standards.
• Monitor project progress, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Use PPM tools to track and report on project portfolios and performance.
Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with EPMO to implement project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery frameworks and methodologies.
• Champion best practices in project and program management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities; Education; and/or Work Experience Requirements:
What you Bring to the Table:
• Bachelor's degree in business management, Project Management and related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing enterprise-level projects or programs.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with PPM tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines while performing with a high degree of accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication.
