About the Job
About This Role: | As a part of the work of Building Operational Excellence for a Next-Generation Land-Grant University and associated organizational changes, the office of Data, Assessment, and Institutional Research (DAIR) has assumed expanded roles and responsibilities in the areas of data warehouse design, implementation, maintenance and data management. DAIR is the steward of both the current (SQL Server) and the new cloud (Snowflake) data warehouse. This position is responsible for developing data design of conceptual, logical, and physical models in the data warehouses for business intelligence, analytics and application development. This position will work with data stewards and source system subject matter experts to understand the source systems that the data needs to be pulled from and into the data warehouses. This position will work on maintaining the existing data warehouse and development of the cloud data warehouse. |

Worksite Options: | This position is eligible for hybrid worksite. Work is performed partially remote and partially on employer premises or designated assignment location. This role is expected to work on-site approximately three (3) days a week OR Employee must have availability to be on campus frequently during the work week. On-site employment is preferred, and hybrid work schedules are offered to all staff. At the discretion of the unit leader and to meet staffing needs, employees may be offered 100% remote work arrangements. 100% remote employees will typically be required to travel to the Manhattan campus 1-2 times during each of the fall and spring semesters for 2-5 business days. If the travel distance exceeds a 60-mile radius to the campus, the office will reimburse up to $500 travel related costs and provide lodging at the university guest housing facility.
