About the Role: LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to be a vital member of our team supporting the IRS - Criminal Investigation contract. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and experience working on federal government agency contracts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to align technology solutions with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with federal standards and guidelines. This position requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, secure cloud infrastructure, and the nuances of federal government operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise architectures that address business and technical requirements, including:
- Drive the Agency toward a unified and integrated enterprise environment
- Shift away from silo-based systems
- Capture and prioritize requirements
- Adapt IT systems to meet discovered and emerging requirements
- Estimate required investments in technology modernization
- Build financial and risk models to support sound decision making
- Cloud Computing: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Cybersecurity: Threat modeling, risk assessment, security controls, incident response
- Data Management: Data governance, data integration, data warehousing, data analytics
- Application Development: Microservices, APIs, DevOps
- IT Infrastructure: Networking, virtualization, storage, disaster recovery
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Design and implement robust cybersecurity strategies and frameworks that protect sensitive data and comply with federal standards such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
- Cloud Engineering: Architect scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions, leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, tailored to federal agency requirements.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all IT systems and solutions meet federal government compliance standards and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including federal agencies, project managers, and technical teams, to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance enterprise operations while ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, policies, and procedures, to support system development and maintenance.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the resilience and security of IT systems. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on cybersecurity and cloud engineering.
- Proven experience working on federal government agency contracts, with a strong understanding of federal procurement processes and requirements.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated tools and services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and frameworks, including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to develop, implement and maintain plans, briefings, reports, and training materials.
- Ability to define, develop, and manage data models, and data architecture, standards, policies, processes, and plans.
- Ability to recommend, implement, and maintain EA methodologies, standards, tools/repositories, standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to establish and implement a plan to support the management, assessment, enhancement, and/or maintenance of vendor support and enterprise-wide maintenance agreements.
- Ability to develop and maintain Enterprise Architecture (application, data, infrastructure, security, technical, and business architectures), Technical Reference Model (TRM), EA Roadmap and associated vision, strategy and implementation documentation in accordance with Federal and DoD regulations, guidelines and policies as well as industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture modeling tools such as ArchiMate or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, or blockchain and their applications in the federal space.
- Experience with specific data management certifications (e.g., CDP).
- Experience with specific government contracting certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
