You are:
As an Enterprise Architect, you will have a unique opportunity to help our clients align their enterprise mission with the supporting architecture to successfully deliver key business outcomes. The ideal candidate will co-create and/or refine enterprise architecture models to support IT Portfolio Management, leading to a roadmap to guide delivery. Broad expertise and superior communication skills are essential to create an enterprise architecture that achieves business outcomes, is data-driven, and maintains alignment with the business goals and mission. Beyond traditional enterprise architecture that focuses solely on standards and compliance, our modern enterprise architects are directly responsible for high-quality delivery and streamlining innovation for the enterprise.
The work:
- Work alongside executive decision-makers, organizational business units, solution architects/engineers, IT leaders, and CxO executives to apply existing standards, drive investments, and ensure successful execution.
- Frequent customer communication, collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders, and maintaining high quality standards for enterprise architecture work products.
- Work in an EA Program Office, optimizing and scaling EA, and successful delivery are all highly beneficial.
- Directs and participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
- Develop business, systems/application, data, and technology domain current and future state architecture models.
- Build a deep understanding of the business objectives and strategies to ensure architecture vision is fully aligned.
- Apply analytical expertise to guide clients in optimizing business processes, driving innovation, and streamlining application/system portfolios.
Here's what you need:
- 8+ years of IT experience with 2+ years' experience designing and architecting solutions.
- Expertise with one or more architecture modeling tools (Alfabet/ARIS, SPARX, System Architect, etc.).
- Experience monitoring market trends for information technology and can use build business cases to advance architecture initiatives and roadmaps.
- Experience designing architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Expertise with one or more architecture frameworks (TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF, etc.).
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a clearance and pass a background check.
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
- Software AG's Alfabet certification
- Experience with cloud service models
- Agile & DevSecOps experience
- Technology and/or management consulting experience
- Additional certification(s) in one or more EA areas: cybersecurity, cloud, DevSecOps, data, infrastructure, development, platforms, etc.
- Direct support for a Federal EA Program Office and/or EA Delivery
- Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM)

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
