Southwire Job Description
The primary role of the Enterprise Architect III, AI/ML will be to design, develop, and drive the development of advanced artificial intelligence solutions for various applications by working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient AI and BI architecture. Responsible for leading the implementation and deployment of AI models and systems and Supporting AI product manager/management from the perspective of solution approach and technology choices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient AI and BI architecture
• Your main responsibilities entail owning the implementation and deployment of AI models and systems with their underlying architecture
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, software engineers, and other customers to understand business goals and determine AI requirements
• Design and develop AI architectures, frameworks, and algorithms that can support large-scale and sophisticated AI solutions using Retrieval augmented generation (RAG), Contextual AI, Prompt Engineering, etc.
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to achieve desired performance, accuracy, and scalability
• Own the development and implementation of AI models, ensuring consistency to standard processes in machine learning and deep learning. Develop and maintain AI pipelines, incorporating data cleaning, pre-processing, feature engineering, model training, and validation processes
• Optimize AI models and systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team
• Partner with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of AI models in production environments
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
Specialized Degree: Data/decision sciences or related area of study
Years of Experience: 10+
Field of Expertise: Data Science, AI Architecture, Machine Learning, Generative AI
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Education Level: Master's
Certificates: Professional Certification(s)
Years of Experience: 15+
Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates: Architecting for AI/ML applications, Strong understanding, and experience of using various leading AI/ML tools, libraries, and products for business applications. Experience in leading AI/ML-based solution development. Strong understanding of new developments in AI, Gen AI, and related. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies, frameworks, and algorithms, and find opportunities for their application in the organization.
