Position Overview
As an Enterprise Architect at Client, you will play a critical role in defining and driving the company’s technology strategy and digital transformation roadmap. Reporting to the Enterprise Architecture team, you will partner with IT leadership, product management, and engineering teams to align technology investments with business goals. This position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in enterprise architecture leadership, cloud adoption, and data-driven solution development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product and IT Leadership to create strategic roadmaps aligning IT investments with business objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as business strategy, application architecture, and data & information architecture.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Lead Architecture Review Boards to evaluate technology choices, design patterns, and solutions.
- Design scalable data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and marts, leveraging modern technologies like Snowflake and Databricks.
- Partner with teams to develop AI/ML strategies, natural language processing solutions, and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Drive the adoption of modern cloud technologies and facilitate on-premise-to-cloud migration roadmaps.
- Ensure systems comply with enterprise architecture standards while enabling innovation.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Enterprise Architecture Experience:
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives, preferably in a cloud environment.
Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with GCP technologies, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Spanner.
- Deep solution architecture expertise with data technologies (8+ years).
Application Development:
- 5+ years of experience in application design and development using object-oriented programming languages such as .NET C# or Java and REST services.
Data Strategy and Analytics:
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise data strategy and analytics.
Modern Data Platforms:
- Working knowledge of platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and BI tools like Tableau and Looker.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Expertise in data modeling and data warehouse architecture.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF (certification preferred).
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CCDA, HIPAA).
- Experience with event-driven and message-driven distributed systems (e.g., Kafka).
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of IT architecture experience.
- Certifications: TOGAF or similar certifications preferred; GCP certification desirable.
