Remote Opportunity - Account Executive (SoCal Region)

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for success? We're seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join our winning sales team. In this highly visible role, you'll be responsible for meeting and exceeding quarterly sales quotas by building and executing a strategic territory plan within the SoCal region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and close new opportunities within your assigned geographic territory, excluding the top 2000 accounts managed by our strategic account team.
- Create and execute a regional sales strategy leveraging channel partners, BDRs, marketing, sales engineering, product teams, existing customers, and your own outreach efforts.
- Build a robust pipeline funnel of at least 4x your quota.
- Cultivate strong relationships with channel partners and IT vendors across your region.
- Demonstrate a conceptual understanding of security and IT solutions, including endpoint agents, vulnerability scanners, CMDB, SIEM, Active Directory, firewalls, cloud, and SaaS.
- Qualify opportunities using value-based selling techniques and the MEDDPIC framework.
- Forecast accurately using reverse timeline techniques.
- Navigate technical conversations and plan/execute value-added POC activities with your Sales Engineer.
- Maintain impeccable Salesforce hygiene, including frequent updates, strategic next-step documentation, and accurate close dates.
- Exhibit strong negotiation skills with minimal discounting.
- Work creatively, independently, and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Showcase excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience in a closing sales role with a proven track record as a hunter.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles with enterprise accounts.
- Familiarity with channel partner and security/IT vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to build and execute on a regional strategy.
- Successful history of accurate forecasting and strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to navigate technical conversations and plan POC activities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
