Duties & Responsibilities
The Enrollment Counselor's primary responsibilities include generating certification leads through outbound calls, nurturing inbound leads provided by certification marketing, and converting these prospects to program registrants. This highly organized individual will manage lists, lead nurturing, and written and verbal follow up activities through to conversion (registration) for the CIMA, CPWA, and RMA certifications. Additional responsibilities include supporting the outside sales team for renewals of institutional members, exhibitors, and other recurring business as directed by the Associate Director, Sales Enablement. In addition, this position will supplement conference registration marketing, making outbound calls for event registrations when needed. The Enrollment Counselor must be able to identify and rank prospects and effectively, communicate rights and benefits of the certification programs, and explain the certification onboarding process, with the goal of moving candidates towards conversion. This position requires strong phone sales skills, data management skills, and a professional and cheerful concierge style approach.
I. Certification Prospecting and Sales
- Convey the benefits of pursuing advanced credentials and the process to earn the certifications and explain the differences between the programs and options to prospects and candidates.
- Work closely with the certification marketing team to make outbound calls and manage inbound calls with CIMA, CPWA, and RMA candidates.
- Work in Association Management System and HubSpot to develop streamlined processes.
- Create lead scoring and multi-touch follow-up programs to drive candidates through the sales funnel.
- Develop scripts and email communications and other messaging to engage prospects.
- Identify opportunities and analyze patterns using analytic tools.
- Track and report sales activity and efforts to reach defined key performance indicators and meet sales goals.
- Support and deliver education webinars about the Institute's three certifications.
II. Corporate Membership and Conference Exhibit Renewals
- Work with the Marketing and Sales Teams to coordinate outbound calls for renewals of corporate membership and conference exhibit renewals.
- Complete renewal agreements, generate invoices, follow-up on payments.
III. Conference Registration Sales
- Work with the Marketing team to assist in outbound telemarketing for individual conference attendee registration sales.
- Complete registration process for members and nonmembers in Association Management System (AMS).
IV. General
- Build a strong rapport with customers and prospects through friendly and engaging conversations.
- Actively collaborative with teams.
- Other duties as assigned by the Sales Leadership.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably with education products.
- Familiarity with Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven track record of successful sales experience.
- Knowledge of financial services industry a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent sales, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage clients and prospects.
- Knowledge of HubSpot and Association Management System, or ability to learn/train.
- Ability to prioritize prospects and leads.
- Tenacious and results oriented.
- Ability to work closely with staff from marketing, communications, and sales teams.
- Adept at capturing customer information (NetForum and HubSpot).
- Proficient, or ability to learn to work with marketing to create workflows in HubSpot.

IWI is a remote position or available to work a hybrid schedule out of our offices in Greenwood Village, CO.
Salary range is $60,000 - $70,000 and is dependent on experience. Bonus potential up to 15%.
