Enhancement Specialist - Web Designer, Senior - Global Dimensions

Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, service disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Fredericksburg, VA. We are a dynamic, expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture, training/education/instruction, IT, cyber security, and intelligence (analysts, CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, etc.). Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Senior Web Designer for a position in Springfield, VA.




Senior Web Designer will:




+ Work closely with analysts to conceptualize interactive products that clearly and efficiently communicate intelligence reporting.



+ Create wireframes, storyboards, and design mockups of UI layouts in preparation for customer consultations



+ Conceptualize, capture, and create intuitive interactive user interfaces that are understandable for all users



+ Work closely with other tradecraft specialties at NGA and across the IC as part of a multidisciplinary team.



+ Assist to establish best practices, standards, templates, and other style guides for all graphics produced in ATC and the Analysis Directorate.



+ Brief management, mission partners, and senior leaders on digital and web products created in ATC and related efforts.



+ Design a functional website or application depicting code and design elements viewable in real-time and offline.




Requirements




+ TS/SCI security clearance



+ At least ten years of relevant web design experience. A bachelor's degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to four years of this experience.



+ Knowledge and expertise in User Interface (UI) design and User Experience (UX) design or research



+ Superior and demonstrable proficiency in the ability to visually depict complex data and reporting into creative design solutions that effectively communicate the customer's objectives and requirements.



+ Proficient understanding of web markup: HTMLS and CSS3, and client-side scripting: JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Vue.js.



+ Working knowledge of Adobe CC with emphasis using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, and Adobe After Effects.



+ Skilled ability to create original graphics (icons, maps, images, etc.)



+ Working knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.






Desired



+ Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator's plugin — "MaPublisher"
