English teacher for children in Charlotte, NC - Global LT

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring English Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to children in Charlotte, NC

Job Information:

• Class: 182540/182541
• Student: 2 students (8 and 12 years old) taking classes back-to-bak
• Availability: Monday to Friday 4 to 8 PM 
• Lesson frequency: Five times a week
• Lesson length: 1 hour for each child
• Location: The client's place in Charlotte, NC (close to 400 Dunavant St.)
• Current target language level: Beginner
• Native language: German/Dutch
• Student's goals: Going to school, managing every day life. Vocabulary, grammar and making friends. 

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
• Must have experience working with young kids
