Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Test Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for technology, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of storage systems and components to validate performance, reliability, and functionality.
- Execute detailed test plans, including test cases, procedures, and scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of system features and requirements.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and defects in storage systems. Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineering to provide feedback and solutions for complex problems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, procedures, and issues. Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation to communicate findings to engineering and management teams.
- Utilize test automation tools and develop test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Test Engineering
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- AS degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems.
- Proven experience in system testing, with a focus on storage systems and components.
- Strong understanding of storage technologies, including SSDs, HDDs, RAID configurations, and related components.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel in USA
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of work experience with Intel-based hardware and Linux-based operating systems in commercial manufacturing environment.

Pay range is $28.85/ hour - $34.60/ hour. If FT, eligible for a 5% target bonus.
