Engineering Technician at The Fountain Group

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Engineering Technician for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­Westerville, OH. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• $20-28/HR to start
• 12-month assignment (contract to hire)
• Main responsibilities include:
  • Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair capabilities with an eye for technical accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Troubleshoot various electronic boards to component level and replace components, including through-hole and surface mount to IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Service and repair activities must be performed within established ISO certified policies and procedures and documented accordingly.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Must have strong electronic troubleshooting abilities(good mechanical skills are preferred).
• Experience with calibration and electronic test equipment tools such as Voltmeters and Oscilloscopes is required.
• Experience with LabView programming and / or use of LabView programs is a plus.
• Network support, Computer repair and OS restoration as well as software configuration is a PLUS.
