Title: Engineering Technician
Location: San Jose, CA. Onsite.
Duration: 6 months to start. Possible extension.
Schedule: 40hrs per week M-F 9am-5pm PST
Pay Rate: $36 to $46/hr on W2.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician (Level 3 or 4) to support Client internal systems across all product lines. This role involves hands-on support for test systems, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-performance standards for our engineering and NPI pilot-line operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Client internal test systems and test cells across all product lines.
• Provide internal support from remote engineers.
• Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and calibration of test systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain and ensure proper functionality of lab equipment.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software issues in test systems.
• Analyze system logs and performance data to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to support system integration and functionality.
• Liaise with vendors and external partners as needed to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain detailed records of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Update and create technical documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Adhere to and enforce ESD safety practices to protect sensitive equipment.
