Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Setup and maintain test fixtures and equipment as required
+ Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed.
+ Assist Engineers in basic test planning and execution.
+ Perform diverse tests on the Company’s line of products and competitor products.
+ Perform tests per work instructions and request procedures.
+ Prepare simple reports of test results and make recommendations.
+ Prepare reports utilizing a PC with word processing, database, and spreadsheet.
+ Basic machining skills preferred
+ Basic electronics understanding preferred – AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllers
+ Ability to complete basic wiring and soldering of components preferred.
+ Understanding of common machine component applications and assemblies.
+ Must follow all safety protocols as prescribed.
+ Must able to stand for 6 to 8 hours per day.and lift 50 pounds.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
+ One to 2 years of experience with test equipment, product life / performance test procedures and methods, mechanical/electrical principles prefered or an applicable trade.
+ Knowledge of basic test concepts in the design and development of products and components.
+ High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.
+ Must have a valid drivers license.
