This individual will be required to perform engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.
Major Position Responsibilities:
- Assists engineers and scientists as they create, modify, and test products and processes.
- Supports with technical tasks and project support.
- Sets up equipment and monitors tests and experiments.
- Inspects products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement.
- Observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports.
- Performs extensive research and development during creation phase of product.
- Utilizes computer-aided design and drafting equipment during design phase.
Basic Qualifications:
- Required Education and Experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 3-5 years’ experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/ or Experience
- Preferred Education and Experience: Associate's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise. Ability to understand and follow directions. Design expertise. Mathematical skills. Engineering Support. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software.
