Engineer Project Manager (Iphone Activation)

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We're excited to bring on an Engineering Project Manager to join our iPhone Activation team. This role centers around a highly visible project focused on iPhone product activation, specifically preventing theft of devices during transit from the manufacturer to reseller. You'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our internal development team, sales organization, and external reseller partners. As an Engineering Project Manager, you'll coordinate efforts across multiple scrum teams, optimize processes for efficiency, and ensure successful project execution alongside our employee Project Managers.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

In this role, you'll kick off a critical new project aimed at increasing the security and efficiency of iPhone activations. You'll partner closely with an employee Project Manager who will lead the project, giving you the chance to drive day-to-day tracking, streamline workflows, and enhance coordination across the backend iOS activation team. Your efforts will directly contribute to a project with high visibility and significant impact. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your project management skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, development, and reseller channels, to achieve a smoother, more efficient process.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (top 3 must haves)

1. Engineering Project Management Experience (3-5 years):

   • Proven experience managing and coordinating cross-functional teams, particularly with partnerships across Sales, external reseller channels, and internal technical teams.
   • Skilled at driving project initiatives from concept through completion within dynamic environments.

2. Familiarity with SDLC Processes and External API Management:

   • Experience working closely with development and QA teams, with a particular focus on backend systems and external API integrations.
   • Ability to address and resolve questions related to external partner API testing, integration, and quality assurance.

3. Self-Starter with a Driven, Autonomous Work Style:

   • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while taking the initiative to move projects forward.
   • Capable of seeking guidance as needed, yet comfortable operating with high-level direction to meet project objectives.

NICE TO HAVES

• Prior experience with iPhone activation or mobile product deployment projects.
• Knowledge of theft-prevention and security protocols related to logistics.
