Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate on-site and remote engineering teams in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining products.
- Oversee internal design processes to ensure compliance with standards and proper documentation.
- Manage the documentation process for all released designs.
- Build and lead a cohesive development team to meet ambitious project timelines.
- Provide mentorship and career guidance to team members, fostering professional growth.
- Facilitate and participate in design reviews to ensure quality and alignment with objectives.
- Balance team workload between new product development and sustaining engineering efforts.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management teams to define product requirements.
- Estimate costs and timelines for developing new products or modifying existing ones.
- Report directly to the Director of Design Engineering, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of technical experience, preferably in engineering.
- Proficiency in working with power supplies, digital logic circuits, microcontrollers, FPGAs, RF, and analog circuits.
- Hands-on experience with EMI/EMC, FCC, thermal, surge, and environmental qualifications.
- Strong ability to address customer inquiries and work effectively with regulatory agencies and business stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven experience collaborating with engineers and management teams.
- Experience preparing and delivering accurate and timely reports for customers and internal management.
- Ability to analyze production documents, drawings, and related industry materials.
