This is a long time client of my firm with an excellent track record of bringing them great candidates! In this leadership role you will lead the engineering team, including duties associated with planning engineering programs, reviewing design and method recommendations, purchasing equipment, and ensuring that engineering activities align with organizational objectives. Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring successful product outcomes from concept to production and market introduction will also be essential.
We are seeking candidates with the ability to lead two groups - project engineers and customer base and material selection, and the tool & die process development side. A nice plus to have is experience with equipment automation as they move through many changes due to new leadership and new growth!
Qualifications
Education/Experience
▪ Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field. Master’s preferred.
▪ 5+ years of custom profile extrusion experience and tooling design with increasing responsibility required.
▪ 5+ years of supervisory experience of technical staff is required.
▪ Thermoplastic materials technology development experience required.
▪ Demonstrated Extrusion Tool & Die competency.
