This role is pivotal in our organization, responsible for overseeing all engineering projects, processes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong technical background and a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion. This position will require a deep understanding of Design Validation, Program Management, Product Qualification, and Qualification Retention. Experience in Fastener Division Engineering and New Product Development in a high-volume environment is a must.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our fast-growing engineering division. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong technical background and a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion. This position will require a deep understanding of Design Validation, Program Management, Product Qualification, and Qualification Retention. Experience in Fastener Division Engineering and New Product Development in a high-volume environment is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Direct and coordinate the design validation process to verify that the product meets specified requirements and intended use.
- Lead project and program management, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration across different teams and departments.
- Oversee product qualification and qualification retention processes, ensuring all products meet the necessary standards and regulations.
- Manage the Fastener Division Engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Drive new product development initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Foster a high-performance culture in a high-volume environment, promoting efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and senior management, presenting reports and updates on project progress and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest engineering trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering management role, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
- Proven experience in Design Validation, Project/Program Management, Product Qualification, and Qualification Retention.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Fastener Division Engineering and New Product Development.
- Experience working in a high-volume environment, managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team.
- Excellent project management skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in relevant engineering software and applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to overcoming challenges.
