General & Physical Requirements
ï‚· Must spend large portion of time on shift walking or standing
ï‚· Have ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
ï‚· Be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
ï‚· Be able to perform tasks while stooping, crouching, kneeling, or crawling
ï‚· Be able to climb ladders and work with arms raised above head level
ï‚· Must be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed. Typical shifts are 8 hours long.
Qualifications:
ï‚· Understanding of ultra-high vacuum systems, vacuum pumps, and leak testing.
ï‚· 4 years vacuum experience
ï‚· Understanding of compressed gasses and gas delivery systems.
ï‚· Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform testing and
troubleshooting.
ï‚· May perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing on platforms to Engineering
and Manufacturing documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications.
ï‚· Basic to intermediate knowledge of AC/DC circuits including fundamentals of electricity, and basic
electronic components and circuits
ï‚· Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
ï‚· Be able to fix basic problems and address root causes
ï‚· A strong mechanical proficiency and have the ability to use schematic diagrams to fix electronics down to
the board level.
ï‚· Ability to properly use common hand tools
ï‚· Effective time management and prioritization skills
ï‚· Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects
ï‚· Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
ï‚· The ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities
ï‚· Successfully demonstrated teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics
