The Engineering Lead Bus Specialist will provide direct support on the production line to resolve electrical and programming issues discovered during electrical checkout of online buses, especially lead buses

The Engineering Lead Bus Specialist will provide direct support on the production line to resolve electrical and programming issues discovered during electrical checkout of online buses, especially lead buses
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Investigate and resolve electrical and programming issues encountered on the production line during electrical checkout.
- Participate in electrical checkouts of the first bus built on each order.
- Create and release programming updates and other engineering solutions as needed.
- Support issue resolution using J1939 network traffic analysis as needed.
- Execute in-plant testing of electrical and programming solutions as required by colleagues.
- Support supplier application approvals, vendor tests, config audits, and other online activities as needed.
- Provide general status of online builds, identify, and address potential roadblocks preventing deliveries.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Four-year degree in electrical engineering/technology, business or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of equivalent related industry/technology experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems.
- Ability to communicate professionally, work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
**This is an exempt role, with no OT associated with it.
