- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Must be planning to enroll in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Data Analytics at an accredited institution.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical and organization skills, and ability to work in a self-directed or team environment.
- Employees/Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

- Required to wear common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats when working on the plant floor.

- Calculate machine speed and feed ratios and the size and position of cuts.
- Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction.
- Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation.
- Learn about raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Perform data analytics computations.
- Support daily production needs with engineering support.
