Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
As a part of OBE’s Product & Innovation team, you will work directly with Design and Engineering professionals on programs that will directly impact the business while sharpening your own skills. Below are just a few of the projects our Engineering Intern will be supporting:
Product Technical Documentation
- Develop documentation (drawings and specification sheets) for product parts, dies, and assemblies.
- Review and update technical collateral for fenestration products (web details, installation manuals, structural charts).
- Support creation of parts list database for Oldcastle Brands.
Product Testing
- Create AutoCAD fenestration test drawings and Bill of Materials.
- Assist in ordering material for testing prototypes
- Assist in fabrication, installation, glazing and testing of prototypes

Position Requirements:
- Currently attending an accredited college or university with a minimum of two years on track for a BE or BS with a concentration in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture
- Required to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours a week
- Proficiency in AutoCAD strongly preferred.
