Job Details:
Our company is in search of a skilled and dedicated Engineering Drafter to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a professional who has a solid background in the Engineering industry with a strong focus on drafting and design. This permanent role will require the successful candidate to be proficient in CAD drafting, Revit, and construction documents. The candidate should also have commercial and multi-family drafting experience, as well as a solid understanding of structural engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize CAD and Revit software to create 2D and 3D models of structural engineering designs.
2. Develop comprehensive, detailed, and accurate multi-family and commercial plans.
3. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure project specifications are accurately represented in drawings.
4. Interpret and implement construction feedback into design modifications.
5. Produce effective project designs by using understanding of engineering techniques.
6. Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting.
7. Stay updated with the latest drafting and engineering techniques and applicable codes.
8. Coordinate with other team members to ensure project completion in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
1. Associate degree in Drafting or an equivalent degree in a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Engineering Drafter.
3. Proficient in CAD software, Revit, and construction document preparation.
4. Experience in commercial and multi-family drafting.
5. Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and techniques.
6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to create accurate and detailed drawings.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Familiarity with the latest drafting software and technologies.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve design issues.
