Office Clerk - Engineering Department - HEICO Corporation

Conxall, a Villa Park manufacturer of electronic components and cable assemblies is seeking an Engineering Clerk who will be responsible for a variety of clerical activities for the Engineering Department.

Full Time Position - *This is NOT an internship*
On-Site M-F 8-4:30
$18/Hour

Duties

* Sets up / Assembles groups of paper documents needed for production orders. While doing so:
* Checks drawings and associated BOM’s to make sure such document is the most current.
* Highlights drawings for cable cut lengths.
* Ensures information for label, contact height, instruction sheets, and certificates are included and up to date.
* Transfers electronic engineering document from Work in Process to appropriate file folders once a project is completed.
* Scans and electronically archives completed/closed projects into Engineering Archive folders.
* Maintains Engineering library for easy access by all departments.

* High school diploma. Previous experiences in handling engineering documentation is a plus
* Be able to read production drawings, material specifications, BOM’s, and purchasing requisitions.
* Be familiar with Microsoft WORD and EXCEL.
* Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Be detail-oriented and work well in a team environment.
