the largest US manufacturer of roller coasters and thrill rides, is seeking a full-time Engineering Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Engineering Department.

Engineering Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: An Engineering Administrative Assistant involves various administrative tasks including data entry, compiling drawing packages, general departmental administrative support, and maintenance of all engineering changes in both SolidWorks PDM and the ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Provide departmental administrative support as needed.
• Onboard new staff.
• Maintaining employee PE renewal records.
• Support and execute the Engineering Change process.
• Review ECs for both new and revised parts to enforce consistency and compliance with established standards and processes.
• Facilitate engineering changes between Engineers, Designers, Drafters, and production personnel.
• Maintain Bill of Material (BOM) data in both SolidWorks PDM and the ERP system (Oracle NetSuite).

Requirements

• AS degree or 5 years of applicable experience.
• Excellent literary skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload.
• Ability to work with staff at differing levels. A strong team player.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining BOMs for complex manufactured products.
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM or equivalent.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or equivalent.
• Experience with CADlink or equivalent.
