Test Engineer
Mid level role that requires at a minimum a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively within the Engineering organization as well as quality assurance, production, and company leadership. Our focus is to deliver high quality products on time per customer requirements. To this effort we are a fast paced and multi tasking environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Test Engineer

Job Requirements:
- Fluid Power Design – Desirable
- Experience in selection and design approval of fluid power equipment including pumps, valves, filters, and seals
- Read, understand, and create fluid power schematics (hydraulic, fuel, and air systems)
- Knowledge of electro-hydraulic control hardware and schemes is preferred
- Electronics and Controls – Desirable
- Experience in design of custom electronics and controls for automated testing using PLCs, development boards, DAQ systems or equivalent
- Experience in EMI and electrical noise management within industrial/shop environment
- Instrumentation and Test
- Experience in selection and use of various mechanical, fluid, and electrical instrumentation for testing components and systems
- Pressure sensors, flowmeters, force/torque meters, tachometers, thermocouples, counters, ammeters, etc. and associated data acquisition systems
- Experience in writing and executing detailed test plans and procedures including management of outside services and suppliers
- Design of test setups/apparatus and ability to communicate how these meet intent of the test/design requirement
- General Engineering Design Proficiency
- Familiarity with requirements traceability from specifications through qualification
- Prepare and present technical data including formal reports for customer approval and informal desktop reviews
- Read, understand, and create 2D assembly and component drawings including GD&T
- Task Management
- Effectively communicate task/schedule drivers and key characteristics to non-engineers
- Production Test Support
- Provide shop floor technical support to production and quality assurance
- Perform failure / root cause analyses, develop corrective actions, validate conclusions, implement and measure solutions.
- Compliance
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with ITAR and ISO 9001: 2015
- Preferred experience in marking and handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
