Your Role
You will be the driving force behind building a robust product portfolio at Enumerix. This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to lead, innovate, and shape the genomics landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop instrument software for a cutting-edge 3D light sheet imager from the design phase to manufacturing.
- Work closely and coordinate with internal and external engineering partners to design, develop, integrate, test, and validate software subsystems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop software and test plans to characterize the performance, reliability, and repeatability of instrument components and subsystems.
- Write robust code that is maintainable, scalable, and testable for commercial products.
- Effectively communicate technical information and project priorities with external and remote partners.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical expertise in instrument control, software architecture/design, and software testing/troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
- 8+ years (or 2+ with PhD) of industry experience in software development for life science instrumentation. The level of the position will depend on technical skills and experience.
- Demonstrated success in the software development life cycle from design to commercial deployment and sustaining.
- Extensive knowledge and proven hands-on experience in developing software in C# (WPF, MVVM architecture) and one or more of the following programming languages: MATLAB, Python.
- Experience integrating MATLAB code with C#.
- Proficient in multithreading/multiprocessing and asynchronous hardware control and multi-axis motion control.
- Knowledge of data and statistical analysis is strongly desirable.
- Experience with software test development.
- Experience working with optics and image processing is strongly desirable.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Catalyst for change with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience working with remote and external engineering partners.
