Mountain Ltd. has an opening for an Engineer / Inspector in Western, NE.

The OSP Inspector/Engineer will be responsible for completing field work/site surveys, outside plant inspections/audits, and performing basic field verification on the clients outside plant infrastructure.
The Inspector/Engineer will support road moves, and other job types including fiber to the business (CDFS – custom designed fiber solutions). Main functions may include:

The Inspector/Engineer will support road moves, and other job types including fiber to the business (CDFS – custom designed fiber solutions). Main functions may include:
- Field Engineering and/or Surveys
- Inspections (possibly live but also post-construction)
- Field Verifications (basic notes and progress reports on builds and road moves)
- Other desktop functions as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience performing inspections
- Knowledge of telecom equipment and OSP projects
- Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards
- Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Good communication skills.
- Personal time management and organization skills.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on short notice.
- Required Tools: Personal Vehicle, Laptop (windows-based), Measuring Wheel, Height Stick
