Orbital Analyst – Engineer
Location: Aurora, CO

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performance analysis.
- Analyze data to determine if system is performing to specifications.
- Use mathematical models and computational tools to predict the future orbital behavior of satellites.
- Collaborate with mission planners to develop and optimize satellite orbits, ensuring that specific mission requirements are met.
- Perform orbital engineering tasks required to support operations and other occasional mission support tasking.
- Participate in customer education.
- Support and perform future OA software and hardware upgrades.
Required Skills:
- Must have a completed STEM degree [a degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics].
Must have above minimum experience on the below:
- MATLAB
- Perl
- Multi-tasking including identifying and achieving multiple milestones spread across various calendars and schedules.
- Creating and following standard processes and clearly document results.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with STK, ODTK, and other COTS products.
- Experience in executing the project life cycle of requirements analysis, design, hardware and/or software development, integration, test, and sustainment.
- Knowledge and experience with satellite command & control theories and methodologies.
