Orbital Analyst  – Engineer 
Location: Aurora, CO 
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performance analysis.
• Analyze data to determine if system is performing to specifications.
• Use mathematical models and computational tools to predict the future orbital behavior of satellites.
• Collaborate with mission planners to develop and optimize satellite orbits, ensuring that specific mission requirements are met.
• Perform orbital engineering tasks required to support operations and other occasional mission support tasking.
• Participate in customer education.
• Support and perform future OA software and hardware upgrades.  

Required Skills:

• Must have a completed STEM degree [a degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics].  

Must have above minimum experience on the below:

• MATLAB
• Perl
• Multi-tasking including identifying and achieving multiple milestones spread across various calendars and schedules.
• Creating and following standard processes and clearly document results.  

Desired Skills:

• Experience with STK, ODTK, and other COTS products.
• Experience in executing the project life cycle of requirements analysis, design, hardware and/or software development, integration, test, and sustainment.
• Knowledge and experience with satellite command & control theories and methodologies.
