We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Energy Sales Consultant to join our innovative and fast-paced team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in B2B Outside Sales in the Renewable Energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through effective cold calling and networking.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their unique needs and offering tailored energy solutions.
- Present sales, revenue and expense reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and market conditions to stay competitive.
- Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift strategic directions of accounts.
- Collaborate with team members to align our internal goals with new and existing customer projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven B2B sales experience, in the renewable energy sector.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from inception to close.
- Demonstrable experience as a sales consultant, with a track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent cold calling, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong business development skills with a knack for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Solid experience with CRM software
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex energy solutions in a simple and persuasive manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent networking skills, with a proven ability to effectively connect with potential clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
