Endourology Data Analyst - University of Rochester

About the Job
GENERAL PURPOSE:
To Support academic actions and requirements of the Urology Stone program. Assist in data collection and prioritizing outcomes of patients undergoing treatment at our kidney stone center.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Conduct research and analyze data to develop clinical research study protocols and databases. 15%
+ Oversee and ensure acquisition of Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval and regulatory compliance. 15%
+ This position may include direct patient contact when consenting subjects and coordinating subject participation in research studies. 15%
+ Documenting and recording information in electronic medical records. 15%
+ Assist in the development and preparation of grant applications in order to interpret results for research presentations, and for in informal instruction of research students. 15%
+ Database development and maintenance including clinical data entry into databases. 10%
+ Coordinate data collection and analysis with students, residents and fellows. Identifying complex problems in research, development, and applications by a discipline related skills. 10%
+ Other duties as assigned 5%
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Bachelor 's degree in public health, nutrition, medicine , data science or related field required.
+ Master's Degree preferred
**Required:**
+ Minimum of 1 years research experience required
+ Experience using medical database software such as Redcap
+ Experience analyzing data through SPSS, SAS, or other statistical software
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel
+ Ability to think critically to identify solutions to problems
+ Ability to work with collaborators within URMC and externally efficiently

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $ 20.00 - $ 38.46 Hourly
_The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
