About the Role
As a CAREonsite EMT or Paramedic, you'll be on the front lines of site safety, delivering essential care—from basic first aid to life-saving medical interventions—for personnel within a fast-paced industrial setting. This role includes work in both clinical and field settings, requiring adaptability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and efficiently to on-site medical emergencies.
- Provide Care: Deliver basic first aid and advanced medical support, adhering to federal, state, local, and company guidelines.
- Assessment & Triage: Evaluate injuries and illnesses to determine and prioritize necessary medical procedures.
- Communication: Effectively coordinate with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further care instructions. Clearly communicate with clients and site personnel regarding incidents and potential hazards.
- Site Awareness: Monitor and adapt to the ever-changing worksite environment to identify and address safety risks.
- Clinical Standards: Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and quality in medical care.
- Documentation: Accurately record findings, treatments, and incidents in a clear and concise manner.
- Safety Support: Collaborate with Site Safety Managers to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Active Certification: Current EMT or Paramedic license and BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in emergency care settings, including 911 response experience (required).
- Skills: Strong clinical expertise, adaptability to diverse settings, and exceptional communication abilities.
